Life Skills and Job Readiness Trainer (High School Students) – Full Time

Bloom Consulting is hiring a full-time trainer to help high school students with disabilities prepare for life after graduation. In this role, you’ll guide students as they learn essential life skills, explore career options, and gain confidence for the future.

What You’ll Do

• 
  

  Teach high school students in one-on-one sessions, often seeing several students a day at the same school

• Arrange and deliver short-term job experiences, including direct job coaching (especially during the summer months)

• 
  

  Partner and communicate with schools, families, and local businesses to arrange and support services

• 
  

  Organize the full service cycle: set up the service, deliver the instruction, and complete documentation afterward

• 
  

  Use the provided curriculum and materials — no lesson planning required

• 
  

  Keep simple, accurate records of services and progress

• 
  

  Travel across Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, and Morgan counties (vehicle stipend provided)

What We’re Looking For

• 
  

  Someone dependable, caring, and patient who enjoys working with teenagers

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in teaching, mentoring, coaching, or supporting youth (preferred but not required)

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and organization skills

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable transportation and comfort with regional travel

  
  

Pay & Benefits

• 
  

  $52,000–$55,000 per year (W2 employee)

  $300/month vehicle stipend to cover wear and tear on your car
