The Life Skills Coach plays a vital role at Hope Network by helping individuals develop the skills, confidence, and connections needed to live more independent and fulfilling lives. Working in home, community, and facility-based environments, Life Skills Coaches provide hands-on support with daily living, community participation, relationship building, and personal goal achievement. This rewarding role empowers individuals to grow their independence, strengthen community involvement, and reach their full potential.
What You’ll Do
Encourage positive relationship building
Transportation and Participation in Community Activities
Personal Care/Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
Provide Community Living Supports (CLS) in a variety of settings; community, in consumers home, and facility based
Role modeling and training appropriate behavior and skills to the person served to help them achieve their highest level of independence

Someone who can stay calm and supportive during challenging situations
A commitment to treating every person with respect and compassion
What You Bring
Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with people with disabilities, mental health needs, or caregiving experience
Required:
Valid driver's license
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals as needed
Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends
Ability to pass required background checks
