POSITION OVERVIEW

Riverside Country Club is looking for Lifeguards to oversee the pool, keep everyone safe, and assist swimmers all summer long. This is a great chance for a customer-service-focused person who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a lively, fun environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  Constantly monitor the pool to ensure everyone's safety.

  
  


• 
  

  Administer first aid and execute water rescues as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor environmental conditions to detect hazards.

  
  


• 
  

  Enforce all pool rules and regulations.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, well-organized pool, pool changing rooms, and pool deck.

  
  


• 
  

  Complete daily and weekly maintenance checklists.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide friendly and welcoming customer service consistent with the club's standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Relay any concerns or safety issues to management promptly.

  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  

  Must be at least 15 years of age.

  
  


• 
  

  American Red Cross Lifeguard certification (or equivalent) required.

  
  


• 
  

  CPR/First Aid certification required.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work both indoors and outdoors on your feet for long periods.

  
  


• 
  

  Exceptional customer service skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to handle conflict resolution situations calmly.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work with all ages, including young children.

  
  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• 
  

  Ability to stand, walk, and perform rescues for extended periods.

  Ability to work outdoors in warm weather conditions.

  Swimming proficiency required.
