Lifeguard/Swim Instructor - Houser

• Actively scan the pool deck and maintain a safe and welcoming pool environment
  
• Enforce all YMCA pool rules
  
• Respond to all pool emergencies and perform first -aid while on duty
  
• Teach swimming lessons to YMCA standards
  
• Communicate with supervisors, staff, members, and guests in a concise and positive manner
  

• Flexible hours –
  part -time positions in either branch

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years old
  
• Lifeguard Certification (for lifeguards only)
  
• CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification (for lifeguards only)
  
• Must enjoy working around children and adults of all ages
