Do you enjoy helping others and working in an active outdoor environment? As a Lift Operator at Greek Peak Mountain Resort, you’ll help guests safely access the slopes while providing friendly, attentive service. This is your opportunity to make a difference in someone’s day while enjoying the perks of working at the resort!

Applicants MUST be at least 18 years old and have WEEKEND availability.



What You’ll Do:

• Welcome guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and help create a positive experience at every lift.


• Prioritize safety by completing assigned daily safety checks, maintaining accurate logbooks, and promptly reporting mechanical issues or safety concerns.


• Operate lifts according to training and resort procedures, assist with opening and closing lift areas, monitor lift lines, and validate guest passes.


• Assist guests as they board and exit lifts, provide clear safety instructions, and remain attentive to guest needs.


• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment in lift areas and assist with resort tasks as needed.


• Work as a team with lift operations staff and other departments to support safe, efficient operations and outstanding guest service.

• Flexible & Adaptable: You’re comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, standing for extended periods, and working weekends and holidays.


• Customer Service-Oriented: You’re committed to providing exceptional service. Previous customer service experience is a plus, and training is provided.

Location & Schedule:

Location: Greek Peak Mountain Resort, Cortland, NY

Schedule: This seasonal position runs from late November or early December through the winter season, with scheduling based on resort needs and peak business periods.
