Light Production - Secondary Inspection Operator

Job Summary: The Light Production Operator – Secondary Inspection role is responsible for operating and monitoring dip equipment used in the production of medical devices, industrial parts, or coated products. Inspect produced parts and trim for quality control. This role ensures that all finishing processes are carried out in accordance with company procedures, regulatory standards, and customer specifications.

Flexible 1st Shift Schedule, 32 hours per week with more hours possible.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control:

• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.


• Identify and address defects or inconsistencies in molded parts.


• Trim necessary defects to meet customer specifications.


• Package for delivery.




1. Production:




• Operate monitor and adjust dip molding or coating equipment to ensure consistent product quality.




1. Machines operate on timed cycles, consistency and following specific process is critical.


2. Operate secondary punch presses.


3. Applying primer to parts to ensure proper bonding.


4. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, material issues and process deviations.

3. Safety and Compliance:

• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.


• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

4. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production output, and quality checks.


• Complete daily production reports as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.


• Basic troubleshooting skills.


• Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery.


• May require standing for long periods and handling materials.


• Exposure to high temperature environment.
