Lighting Specialist - Colchester, VT

Lighting Specialist job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Service our existing customer base in all facets of lighting selection and design including but not limited to residential and commercial applications.
• Service and expand the GMES lighting customer base by developing new customers and accounts.
• Support the sales team and customer base with lighting selection assistance and lighting design.
• Support the sales team and customer base in lighting value engineered or alternate opportunities.
• Work with the sales team as well as dialogue with customers to provide solutions to product related to lighting and lighting control.
• Learn and continuously update knowledge on current lighting technology and product offerings as well as rebate and incentive programs across our markets and share that knowledge with our sales teams.
• Learn and become proficient with the AGI32 Lighting Design program software
• Continuously improve knowledge on the ever-changing lighting and lighting control products and market

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 **The pay range for this role is $19.00 to $30.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications and other factors determined by law.**
