We are in search for a dedicated LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) Administrator to optimize a Global Laboratory Services organization. This USA role is full-time, remote.

Salary: $97,000+ Depending on experience

Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree (science or related field preferred)

Required Experience (3 + years):

Managing the Global Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Empower CDS, associated LIMS master data, including customer and/or compendial specifications for GxP and lab grade products.

LIMS Master Data experience

System administration experience

Data flow requirements in LIMS systems.

LabVantage LIMS and Empower CDS.

Creating, revising, and maintaining master data in LabVantage LIMS system including but not limited to parameters, parameter lists, test methods, specifications, sampling plans and products.

Approving and executing requested change management actions in EtQ and LIMS.

Navigating LIMS master data functional issues with management and IT or service provider as necessary.

Supporting testing functionality and validation efforts for LIMS upgrades, enhancements, and further site LIMS implementations.

Regulatory requirements for 21 CFR Parts 11, 210 / 211, and 820, ISO 17025, GxP principles.

Managing and executing the design, development, and implementation of requested and approved enhancements to functionality of modules, reports, and interfaces of the LIMS.

Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of LabVantage LIMS software.

Supporting administration of global LIMS and Empower CDS software functionality.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience:

Java, JavaScript, BarTender, Groovy and/or SQL.

Working with customers, regulatory agents and vendors during audits and site visits.

Laboratory and infrastructure experience

Laboratory instrumentation

Updating and maintaining procedures
