Location: Beacon Hill Club, Summit, NJ

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Full-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team at Beacon Hill Club. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals for members and guests in a fast-paced, professional kitchen. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional food in a private club setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to club recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Work closely with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
• Assist with prep work, special events, and banquets as needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team and front-of-house staff.

Requirements:

• Previous line cook experience preferred (private club or upscale dining a plus).
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• ServSafe certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Work in hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
