Sheraton Augusta Hotel is seeking a dependable and motivated Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. If you enjoy preparing quality food in a fast-paced hospitality environment and take pride in creating an exceptional guest experience, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Sheraton brand standards and recipes.


• Set up and stock kitchen stations before each shift.


• Ensure food is prepared safely and served with consistent quality.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, storage, and work areas.


• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.


• Monitor food inventory and notify management of items that need replenishing.


• Work efficiently with the restaurant and banquet teams during busy service periods.


• Assist with closing duties and cleaning at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or restaurant experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.


• Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen safety.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.


• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.


• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
