Line Cook PM

The Madison Concourse Hotel is seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in an upscale or high-volume kitchen, works well under pressure, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes. This is a full-time role with typical shifts from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Flexibility is required, including availability on weekends and holidays. Starting wage for this position is $21 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Prepare and plate appetizers, entrées, and desserts according to recipes and presentation standards

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate and collaborate effectively with the team during busy service periods

  
  


• 
  

  Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with inventory, freshness checks, and special dietary requests

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Previous line cook experience (hotel or upscale dining preferred)

  
  


• 
  

  Strong culinary skills with attention to detail

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

  
  


• 
  

  Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  
  


• 
  

  Culinary education is a plus

  
  

Physical Requirements:

  Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods

  Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  Comfortable working in hot, fast-paced kitchen environments
