We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and food handling, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble meals according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality


• Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to optimize flavor and presentation


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas


• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations


• Handle food with care, utilizing proper knife skills and cooking techniques


• Support catering events by preparing dishes and serving guests as needed


• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods


• Assist in food plating, garnishing, and presentation for fine dining experiences


• Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues

Experience

• Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred


• Background in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is highly desirable


• Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety standards is beneficial


• Skills in cooking, food handling, knife skills, and food presentation are essential


• Knowledge of catering services and serving in a fine dining environment is a plus


• Previous kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and culinary techniques is preferred
