We are hiring a 2nd shift line leader to join our team! This position provides manufacturing support in a team environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Operates machines as necessary
• Assists with start up procedures in a timely manner
• Maintains quality product within the designated cell
• Performs visual inspections, reviews documentation, and audits production processes
• Insures proper identification of product within the cell
• Trains machine operators on proper loading/unloading of product, proper gauging and interpretation of readings, tool changing, and any other functions of the machine as necessary
• Maintains a safe, clean work area
• Maintains a 5S (Visual Factory) work cell
• Maintains adequate material within the cell
• Reports final production quantities and machine downtime
• Communicates to the supervisor on the status of the cell
• Strives for continuous improvement of the work cell
• Relieves operators for breaks and lunches

Education and Experience:  

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 - 2 years of experience in an industrial environment preferred
• Ability to become certified to drive a fork truck
• Employees are expected to work and attend in person meetings as necessary
