Line Worker

Pay: $16/hr
Hours: 6:30 AM until finish; shifts typically last 8–12 hours.
Schedule: Five days per week, scheduled Sunday–Friday, with Saturdays and one weekday off. Sunday availability is required.

We are hiring Precut Line Workers to clean, prepare, and package fresh fruits and vegetables according to customer orders. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a cold, damp production environment.

Responsibilities

• Select, wash, trim, and cut produce according to production instructions.
• Prepare produce by hand or with processing equipment as directed.
• Inspect products for quality and package them in designated containers.
• Use scales to accurately weigh products, accounting for container weight.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and follow food safety procedures.
• Work with the team to complete daily production orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of food preparation or food processing experience; produce industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repeated bending and stooping.
• Comfortable working in a cold processing area, approximately 38°F, and a damp environment.
• Knowledge of food production and sanitation procedures.
• Availability to work the required schedule and shifts lasting 8–12 hours.
