Liquor Sales Representative

to join our sales team in

Washington, DC.

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Liquor Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the liquor industry, possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and have a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, manage your own schedule, and earn substantial commissions based on sales performance.

Responsibilities:
Prospect and acquire new clients within the assigned territory, including liquor stores, bars, restaurants, hotels, and event venues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Conduct product demonstrations and tastings to showcase our range of liquor offerings and educate clients on product features and benefits.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to clients, negotiating terms and closing deals.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, orders, and sales forecasts.
Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our brand and expand your professional network.
Qualifications:

Proven track record of success in liquor sales or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of the liquor industry, including different types of spirits, wines, and beers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for managing sales activities and tracking customer interactions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the assigned territory.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred but not required.
