As the Liquor Store Clerk, you will be an essential part of our liquor store operations, ensuring that our customers have a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. In this role, you will assist customers with selecting and purchasing our exclusive line of distilled products and merchandise, operate the point-of-sale system, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. This is a hybrid role and the Liquor Store Clerk may be asked to work as a host, expo and runner.
General Responsibilities - Liquor Store Clerk
Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them select products and answering questions about our distillery’s offerings.
Observes customers, checks identification for proof-of-age and denies service to underage or intoxicated customers
Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain proper inventory levels
Keep the store clean and organized, performing regular cleaning and maintaining a welcoming environment
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient store operations
General Responsibilities - Expo
Communicate orders and information between the front and back of the house
Make sure the food is cooked in the right order and quickly
Ensure the food is presented to the customer as beautifully as possible
General Responsibilities – Runner
Deliver food and drinks to customers in a timely manner
Check orders for accuracy
Take additional orders when required
Helps expedite orders
General Responsibilities – Host
Greet customers at the door
Seat guests and communicate who their server will be
Provide menus to guests and clean them afterward
Acknowledge guests upon their exi
Requirements
Job Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Previous cash handling experience preferred
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Excellent oral communication skills are required.
Positive interpersonal skills are required.
Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
License/Qualifications:
Must be 21 years or older
ServSafe alcohol certification (or equivalent)
Idaho State Police Alcohol Awareness Training

Physical Requirements:
Ability to speak and hear.
Close and distance vision.
Frequent standing for the duration of the shift.
Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs.
Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs.
Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
