Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft compelling motions, briefs, and legal documents
• Develop and work closely with expert witnesses throughout litigation process
• Handle all aspects of discovery, including document review, depositions, and case strategy
• Represent clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client development

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Active Louisiana bar admission (required)
• 2-5 years of experience specifically in complex commercial litigation
• Proven experience with expert witness development, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Excellent communication and client service skills
