Key Responsibilities

• Represent and advise clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, and shareholder issues.
• Perform in-depth legal research to craft compelling case strategies and arguments.
• Draft, review, and file a range of legal documents, such as pleadings and motions.
• Oversee the discovery process, including conducting depositions and managing document reviews.
• Negotiate settlements and collaborate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies that align with client objectives and legal standards.
• Stay current with developments in commercial law and litigation trends.
• Work collaboratively with team members and contribute to a cohesive legal strategy.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• In-depth understanding of contract law, civil procedure, and dispute resolution.
• Outstanding research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in managing multiple cases with a results-oriented approach.
• Superior communication and negotiation skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in courtroom advocacy and comprehensive case management.
• Proven success in handling complex commercial litigation cases.
• Familiarity with legal research databases and litigation support software.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 annually
