Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in litigation matters related to insurance coverage disputes and bad faith claims.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and arguments.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs for submission to courts.
• Manage discovery processes, including the collection, review, and production of documents.
• Engage in settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial proceedings as needed.
• Develop legal strategies to effectively advocate for clients' positions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance law and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to all cases.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admittance to the state bar in New York.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance litigation and bad faith claims.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage disputes, and related legal precedents.
• Exceptional analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
• Capability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in trial advocacy and litigation management.
• Demonstrated track record of successful outcomes in insurance litigation.
• Proficiency in litigation software and legal research tools.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 annually
