Litigation Paralegal

Offit Kurman, a full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Trusts and Estates department in New York. This role offers the opportunity to apply strong litigation skills within the specialized area of estate and trust disputes.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys in all phases of estate and trust litigation, from case inception through resolution


• Draft legal documents and court filings; manage case files and organize supporting documentation


• Coordinate court dates, track deadlines, and maintain the litigation calendar


• Communicate regularly with clients, executors, trustees, and beneficiaries, keeping all parties informed


• Serve as a reliable point of contact for client updates and case-related inquiries

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm handling litigation, ideally commercial litigation


• Proven ability to draft pleadings and related litigation documents


• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently and efficiently


• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred


• Ability to meet a billable target of 1200 hours annually
