Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Location:

North Palm Beach, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will work closely with attorneys and the litigation support team in a collaborative professional environment.

Note:

Candidates must have 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience and be comfortable managing multiple active matters, preparing litigation documents, coordinating court filings, and tracking critical deadlines. Probate, trust, estate, guardianship, or fiduciary litigation experience is highly preferred but not required.

Job Description

• Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including case administration, discovery, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, correspondence, discovery materials, and other litigation documents.
• Coordinate court filings, service, transcripts, certified records, exhibits, and other case-related materials.
• Monitor litigation deadlines, court requirements, attorney tasks, and overall case workflow.
• Assist with complex and time-sensitive matters, including emergency petitions and expedited court proceedings.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients regarding scheduling, documents, and procedural matters.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical case files.
• Proofread legal documents for accuracy, formatting, citations, grammar, and compliance with applicable court rules.
• Assist with litigation-related searches, court records, entity searches, discovery, and document management.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative professionals to keep cases moving efficiently.
• Maintain accurate time entries and assist with case-related billing and expense tracking.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Ability to independently organize and manage multiple active litigation matters and competing deadlines.
• Excellent written communication, proofreading, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong client-service skills and professional judgment.
• Familiarity with Florida civil litigation procedures and court filing requirements preferred.
• Probate, trust, estate, guardianship, or fiduciary litigation experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with legal practice-management, document-management, or e-discovery systems such as Clio, NetDocuments, or similar platforms preferred.
• Paralegal certification or a paralegal studies degree is preferred but not required.
• Florida Notary preferred or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
