Location:
Plano, TX — Full-time, primarily on-site position. After 90 days, eligible employees may transition to a hybrid schedule with 1 remote day per week.

Job Description
- Support attorneys throughout litigation from case intake through trial, resolution, and appeal
- Manage case files, evidence, exhibits, chronologies, fact summaries, and case timelines
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and legal correspondence under attorney supervision
- Prepare and electronically file documents in state and federal courts
- Coordinate discovery, document productions, privilege logs, and document review
- Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, public records, and other research resources
- Prepare legal research summaries and assist with cite-checking and Bluebook review
- Prepare deposition outlines, exhibits, summaries, transcripts, and witness materials
- Coordinate experts, consultants, vendors, witnesses, and other litigation stakeholders
- Prepare trial binders, exhibit and witness lists, demonstratives, and trial presentation materials
- Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed
- Track court dates, discovery deadlines, filings, and procedural requirements
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and vendors
- Manage electronic files using NetDocs and other litigation/document management systems
- Accurately record billable and non-billable time each day and meet established billable-hour expectations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm
- Experience with federal and state court procedures
- Hands-on discovery, deposition, and trial preparation experience
- Strong e-filing and court deadline management experience
- Knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and applicable court rules
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Experience using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or comparable legal research tools
- Strong organizational, analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple complex cases and tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
- Multi-jurisdictional litigation experience preferred
- Relativity, Concordance, CaseMap, Summation, or similar litigation support software experience preferred
- Experience with AI-assisted legal research and eDiscovery tools preferred
