Berkeley, CA – Hybrid. Enjoy the best of both worlds with three days in our Berkeley office and two days working remotely each week.

We're seeking candidates with 2+ years of litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience who can work in our Berkeley office three days per week. Class action experience is a plus, but not required. We welcome motivated legal professionals looking to grow their careers!

Job Description

As our Litigation Paralegal, you'll play an important role in keeping cases moving forward while supporting attorneys on complex litigation matters.

• Prepare, format, proofread, and organize legal briefs, pleadings, and court documents.
• Assist with federal and state court e-filing, deadline tracking, and case management.
• Support deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits and case materials.
• Cite-check legal documents, assist with Bluebook formatting, and ensure accuracy.
• Help attorneys prepare for hearings and oral arguments.
• Maintain organized electronic case files and confidential client information.
• Collaborate with attorneys and colleagues to keep litigation projects on track.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
• Federal court e-filing, Bluebook, or complex litigation experience is a plus.
