Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury - Urgent Hire

Job Description:
Glades Talent is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a focus on personal injury cases to join our dynamic legal team in Vero Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

• E-filing and E-service: Manage electronic filing and service of legal documents in accordance with court requirements.
• Deadline Management: Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to court deadlines.
• Document Management: Organize and maintain case files, including pleadings, discovery documents, and correspondence.
• Draft/Respond to Written Discovery: Assist in drafting discovery requests and responses under attorney supervision.
• Scheduling and Calendar Maintenance: Coordinate appointments, hearings, and deadlines for assigned attorneys.
• Preparation of Witness & Exhibit Lists: Compile and organize lists of witnesses and exhibits for trial preparation.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, court personnel, and other professional offices regarding case status and updates.
• Medical Record Review and Management: Review and manage medical records related to personal injury cases.
• Prepping Attorneys for Hearings and Depositions: Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Assisting with Trial Preparation: Collaborate with attorneys and paraprofessionals in preparing for trial, including organizing exhibits and witness preparation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Personal Injury Litigation Experience: Prior experience in personal injury litigation, preferably on the plaintiff side.
• Strong Communication and Organizational Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, attorneys, and court personnel. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Capable of working independently on assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members.
• Willingness to Learn and Assist Others: Openness to learning new skills and assisting colleagues as needed in a supportive team environment.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel for document management and data analysis.
