A nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Litigation Staff Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated litigation work in a collaborative environment without the traditional partner-track expectations. The role offers meaningful responsibility on complex commercial litigation matters while working closely with experienced litigators and trial teams.

Ideal Background

• 3+ years of litigation experience gained at a law firm, government agency, or corporate legal department

• Experience supporting complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts

• Experience drafting motions, briefs, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and other litigation documents

• Experience conducting legal research, fact development, witness preparation, and deposition preparation

• Experience managing document review, e-discovery, privilege reviews, and large-scale discovery matters

• Experience preparing for hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trial

• Strong legal writing, analytical, organizational, and case management skills

• Ability to manage multiple matters while working collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and litigation support professionals

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
