Litigator

Position Summary

PLS Logistics is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our Nashville office. This role works closely with the owner of PLS and our outside general counsel. During the first year, you will partner with outside legal resources while working with large law firms on legal matters such as collections, agreements and trade secrets. This position will allow for great exposure and growth potential into future larger scale legal matters with PLS. 

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the owner of PLS and outside general counsel on legal matters affecting the business.


• Partner with outside legal resources throughout your first year.


• Interact with large law firms on matters such as collections, agreements and trade secrets.


• Draft, review and negotiate agreements.


• Appear in court proceedings when needed.


• Travel throughout the US as required.

Qualifications

• Law degree (J.D.) required.


• 1-3 years of litigation experience following law school. Prosecutorial experience, such as with the local district attorney's office, is required. 


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with business owners, general counsel and large law firms.

Location and Travel

This position is based in our Nashville, Tennessee office, with court appearances as needed. Must live in the Nashville, TN area. Travel throughout the US is required at least once per month.
