Educators may teach on Tuesdays, Sundays, or both. The position averages approximately 5 hours per week from January through April (including planning and teaching time) and approximately 8 hours per week from May through October for educators teaching both days.

  • Gather and prepare materials needed for class and clean materials / facilities after class is complete each week

  • Assist with class registration and managing rosters

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching and developing lesson plans for early childhood students

  • Enthusiasm for experiential, place-based, inclusive education

  • Passion for sharing food, agriculture, and ecology with preschool students

  • A willingness to engage with families and their children to establish long-lasting relationships with our community

  • The physical and mental ability to teach outdoors in all types of weather

Compensation

The hourly rate is $17 per hour. Benefits include paid leave, fresh produce, a 20% discount at our farmstand and cafe, access to an employee assistance program, and a 403(b) retirement plan.

To Apply

Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter through our online application.
