Job Description - Little Lakers Temporary Associate (Oxford Campus)
SUMMARY
The Pinelake Little Lakers Temporary Associate, Oxford Campus, is responsible for assisting the Little Lakers Minister in leading, shepherding, and guiding the spiritual development of servant leaders, and preschoolers within the Little Lakers ministry.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
Assists the Little Lakers Minister in achieving excellence in all areas of ministry.
Basic personal responsibilities:
Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation, and practicing L3.
Maintain proper priorities at home, including relationships with spouse and children (if applicable).
Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by stewarding resources wisely.
Maintain active participation in the community.
Practice personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.
Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner that glorifies Christ and furthers the mission and ministry of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).
Live out the 7 H’s of staff culture: Humility, Honor, Honesty, Hunger, Holy Spirit, Health, and Harmony.
SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Support:
Plans and oversees all components of Pinelake Oxford’s Little Lakers ministry on Sunday mornings.
Oversees scheduling and recruiting of servant leaders for all Sunday morning Little Lakers ministry environments.
Keeps the preschool ministry safe by certifying all servant leaders using Pinelake’s Our House Promise, worker application and background check, and adhering strictly to all safety policies
Assists other ministers as necessary in the successful completion of regular worship events and special events.
Conducts daily personal prayer and devotional studies for personal spiritual growth.
Attends at least one regular weekly worship service and is present on the church campus during all regular worship services.
Safety & Compliance:
Helps ensure a safe ministry environment by following Pinelake’s safety policies, including worker applications, background checks, and adherence to Our House Promise.
Servant Leader Recruitment & Development:
Recruits’ servant leaders as small group coaches, small group teachers, hospitality leaders, large group leaders, and for special events.
Curriculum & Environment Preparation:
Prepares Sunday morning Little Lakers environments and content in collaboration with the Little Lakers Team.
Event Support:
Assists with the development of children’s ministry environments for monthly ministries like Fresh Wind and other special events.
Other Duties:
Performs other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the ministry.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May supervise and coordinate work with servant leaders.
