Live-In Caregiver Needed

We seek a compassionate and reliable live-in caregiver for a client who requires daily assistance. Our client has a strong preference for a caregiver from Jamaica, as she feels more comfortable and understands better when interacting with someone from her home country. Additionally, she enjoys Jamaican cuisine, so familiarity with this type of cooking is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Assist the client with daily activities, including help with going to the bathroom.

Provide orientation and reassurance, as the client becomes easily confused.

Prepare meals, preferably Jamaican dishes that the client enjoys.

Offer companionship and ensure the client's well-being and comfort at all times.

Requirements:

Must be patient, understanding, and able to provide gentle guidance.

Experience in caregiving, especially with clients who have cognitive challenges.

Preference will be given to candidates with Jamaican background or those familiar with Jamaican culture and cuisine.

Willingness to live in the client's home and be available to assist as needed.
