Live In Nanny Housekeeper for a Family in Claremont, NC

Dream Nannies is seeking an experienced, dependable, and proactive full-time Nanny Housekeeper for a warm family with four school-aged children and a dog. The Nanny/Housekeeper will be provided with their own separate living quarters on the property. 

The family lives in a 5,700-square-foot home, with approximately 3,000 square feet used regularly. Responsibilities will include maintaining the home, completing family laundry, meal preparation, occasional family cooking, keeping household items stocked, notifying the parents when supplies are running low, feeding the dog, and completing organization projects as needed. Regular errands are not required.

The role will also include afternoon pickups from two nearby schools, transporting the children to activities as needed, and providing calm, attentive support after school. The children are involved in sports and other activities and respond best to someone who is warm, engaging, respectful, and comfortable communicating with older children and teenagers. The family would also like this person to stay with the children when the parents travel, which may occur approximately three times per month.

The ideal candidate is honest, loyal, organized, nurturing, and confident managing responsibilities independently. The family values open communication, humility, integrity, and someone who can anticipate what needs to be done without constant direction. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, beginning around 9:00 or 9:30 AM and ending around 5:30 PM, with flexibility based on the family’s needs.
