Live Out Caregiver for a Family near Summerville SC

Dream Nannies is seeking a dependable and caring housekeeper/caregiver to assist a couple living in Summerville, SC. The wife has Alzheimer’s, and while her husband primarily handles her basic personal care such as bathing and dressing, they are looking for daily support with household management and meal preparation.

This role involves working Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on maintaining a clean and organized home for the family of four adults. Key responsibilities include housekeeping duties for approximately 4 hours daily, such as laundry, cleaning floors and bathrooms, washing dishes, and preparing simple meals like rice and chicken or spaghetti. The wife with Alzheimer’s eats the same breakfast every day, so consistency in meal preparation is important.

Candidates should be comfortable working with strong personalities and be proactive in taking initiative to keep the household running smoothly. A genuine love for pets is a must, as the family has 5 indoor cats, one dog, and chickens.

The position offers $1,500 per week compensation.
