Live-in Caretaker- Atherton, CA

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced live-in caretaker for their private estate in Atherton, CA. The ideal candidate enjoys cooking healthy meals, working outdoors, and ensuring their employer's home is running smoothly. This is a long-term position with housing provided in a separate, private studio cottage on the property. The role includes food prep, errands, pet care, light outdoor work, and general household support. 

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare simple, healthy meals 

• Assist in maintaining outdoor furniture and garden spaces 

• Support with light outdoor gardening tasks 

• Track inventory and purchase household supplies  

• Run local errands, including grocery shopping 

• Assist with household organization  

• Pack and unpack for travel 

• Support with household laundry  

• Provide loving care for the family’s 25-lb mini labradoodle 

• Oversee household vendors 

Requirements:  

• 7+ years of similar experience and longevity in past roles 

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 

• Excellent, verifiable references 

• Comfortable with pet care  

• Flexible to live-on property full-time 

Salary: $80K - $90K per year
