Job Summary: 

Join The Price Center's Humanity House as a Live-In Direct Care Professional and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. You will lead shifts, ensure excellent care, and foster a positive environment, all while enjoying the vibrant community of downtown Brookline. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Resident Care: Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. 


• Recreational Activities: Plan and lead educational and recreational activities, promoting social engagement and independence. 

• Safety and Compliance: Conduct safety drills, maintain a clean-living environment, and adhere to all safety and compliance protocols. 

Requirements: 

• Must be MAP certified


• MUST HAVE: valid driver's license and a CLEAN driving record and a willingness to use agency vehicle in the course of employment.


• Demonstrated teaching skills 


• Effective communication skills 


• Ability to lift and support body weight with assistance 


• On-site on-call availability 

Preferred: 

• Associates degree, CNA, HHA, or PCA credentials 


• 3+ years of experience with developmental disabilities in a residential setting 


• Ability to write clearly 


• Basic computer skills
