Job Description - Live-Out Nanny Manager for a Family in Virginia Highlands

A family in VA Highlands GA is seeking an experienced, mature nanny for their 1 yr old daughter, / one on the way. The ideal candidate should be nurturing, engaging, and focused on the child's development, ensuring she is stimulated through age-appropriate activities such as tummy time, reading, sensory play, and walks.

The nanny will arrive at 8 AM, either getting the baby up or taking over from the father. The daily routine involves feeding, playing, and caring for the toddler/baby until 6 PM, possibly including a bath before the nanny leaves. During nap times, the nanny will take on light housekeeping duties, such as children's laundry (with the option to include family laundry), walking the family’s yellow lab, unloading and reloading the dishwasher, light vacuuming, meal prep, putting away groceries, and stocking diaper stations.

The parents are laid-back but place a strong emphasis on their children's development and are looking for a nanny who shares this priority. They value structure, organization, and someone who is invested in the child's future, teaching her good values in a neutral environment.

One dog and Spanish speaking is a HUGE plus
