Load Checker

Central Valley has been voted among the Best Places to work in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal. We are currently seeking a Load Checker for our Woodland facility.

The Load Checker’s primary duty is to ensure the accuracy and quality of all outgoing products prior to shipment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verifies, counts, dimension, lengths, grade and quality of loads built to ensure that are correct according to the work order.
• Notifies Yard Forman of any errors in packaging.
• Corrects errors as directed by the Yard Foreman.
• Responsible for genuine “best effort” on accuracy and quality of work.
• Operates and maintains forklift and other equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Yard Foreman.

• Knowledgeable of all lumber and building materials 
• Reading a tape measure.
• Basic math and communication skill
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
