Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Load Securement Professional to join our Heavy Haul division. This position requires in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations regarding load securement and a keen eye for detail to ensure all loads are properly inspected and secured prior to transport. The Load Securement Expert will play a critical role in maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards, protecting both our drivers and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly inspect every load for accuracy, securement, and compliance before departure.


• Apply expert knowledge of DOT load securement regulations and industry best practices.


• Identify, address, and correct any load hazards or deficiencies prior to transport.


• Use company procedures and protocols to document each load, including securement points and inspection records.


• Communicate with drivers, supervisors, and project managers to ensure securement requirements are met.


• Maintain an organized and safe work environment while working on pads, yards, and job sites.


• Continuously monitor equipment, tools, and securement devices to ensure they are in safe and working condition.


• Provide guidance and training to team members on securement best practices, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in heavy haul, rigging, or load securement required.


• Strong working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations for oversized and heavy loads.


• Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and safety.


• Ability to identify hazards quickly and take corrective action.


• Proficient in documenting inspections, securement points, and load details.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• Ability to work in outdoor environments and adapt to changing conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move, and secure heavy chains, binders, straps, and rigging equipment.


• Capability to climb onto and off of trailers, trucks, and loads safely.


• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and on active job sites.
