Job Description - Load Securement Specialist, Class A CDL

In this critical role, you'll collaborate closely with your team to identify coverage needs and plans for the day. You will work at a customer facility, ensuring that our glass loads are properly and safely secured prior to departure. Individuals who excel in this role have a safety-first mindset and possess strong communication skills. As needed, you'll utilize your Class A CDL to relocate trailers.
Equipment Movement // Manage the movement of equipment from location to location, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
Load Securement // Facilitate and ensure the loading and securement of preload glass, along with general freight for drivers.
Team Communication // Collaborate closely with your team to maintain a safety-first environment.
Incident Reporting // Immediately report all accidents and incidents directly to your supervisor and the safety division.
Safe Driving Skills // Proven ability to operate Class A CDL equipment safely.
Time Management // The ability to manage one’s own time in a safety-sensitive environment with dynamic priorities and strict deadlines.
Communication // Demonstrable communication skills in an environment where communication with a diverse range of individuals was crucial to success.
Safety First Attitude // Proactive, no compromises approach to individual and group safety.
Weather Resilience // Able to work in inclement weather.
Must possess an Active Class A CDL License.
Must possess a current DOT Medical Examiner's License.
Must be at least twenty-two (22) years of age.
Must have at least six (6) months of verifiable OTR driving experience.
Load Securement // At least one (1) year of experience in load securement, where glass load securement is highly preferred.
Salary // $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, decided based on experience.
