Loader Operator

Knight's Precast has an immediate opening for an experienced Loader Operator. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating heavy equipment in a construction / manufacturing-type setting, is self-motivated, and willing and able to work overtime as needed.

Duties include:

• Perform all job functions in accordance with company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Perform all job functions in accordance with company environmental policies and procedures at all times.
• Complete the daily inspection of equipment in use.
• Load and stack precast concrete structures on trailers; prepare for shipping.
• Arrange inventory in the yard for optimal stack out.
• Assist in the feeding of precast products to the coring machine operator as needed.
• Operate various types of heavy equipment in the construction of precast concrete structures.
• Verify load accuracy, check the load count, stability, and product damage. Report variances as necessary
• Maintain appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy
• Assist with pouring all forms outside of the crane rail.
• Other duties as required.

Experience:

Previous experience in operation of Heavy Equipment / Gantry Crane in a manufacturing or construction setting.

3 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator required, preferably for a Precast concrete producer.

1 year experience maintaining Heavy Equipment preferred.
