Responsibilities:
Accurately count and record products by category
Enter inventory results into Excel and the inventory database
Identify and flag any nonâconforming product (e.g., incorrect code, label issues, short fill, missing carton, leaks)
Assign orders to shipping associates using loadâout sheets
Review available product by code date—both visually and electronically—to ensure proper product rotation
Ensure all products are assembled in the staging area for loading
Direct trailer movement throughout the loadâout period
Prepare paperwork for the oncoming shift
Complete all required documentation and scheduled product checks
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Follow all safety and security policies and procedures
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Comply with all food safety and quality system requirements, including regulatory, customer, and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) standards
Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours
Supports team and organizational goals through additional duties as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Forklift and/or pallet jack certification as provided by the company.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, preferred
Experience in refrigerated warehouses and shipping environments preferred
Ability to remain focused and prioritize tasks during peak demand periods with multiple requests from associates and managers
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; capable of performing basic mathematical calculations and accurately recording data. Bilingual skills are beneficial.
Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend
Must be able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and occasionally 75 pounds
