Americor is hiring a motivated, career-driven Loan Consultant to support one of its affiliated financial services companies. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with sales, lending, or customer service experience who are looking to maximize their earning potential through performance-based incentives.
In this role, you will assist consumers through the loan application, submission, and funding processes, ensuring they receive the best loan options for their financial situation. You will engage with a high volume of inbound leads, assess creditworthiness, and guide borrowers through the lending process by providing expert financial solutions. This position offers unlimited earning potential through a competitive bonus incentive plan based on funded units.
Field inbound calls from prospective borrowers seeking debt consolidation loan solutions
Prescreen loan applicants for creditworthiness and present loan products aligned with their financial needs
Present loan options tailored to each client’s unique situation and requirements
Manage a high volume of calls and emails from prospective borrowers
Become a subject matter expert in unsecured lending programs, rates, and guidelines
Review credit liabilities and income to determine accurate debt-to-income ratios
Obtain required loan documentation in accordance with underwriting guidelines
Review income, assets, and credit documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance
Answer customer questions and resolve challenges during the loan application and funding processes
Request additional documentation when needed to support loan decisions
Clearly communicate loan decisions and next steps to customers
2+ years of experience in consumer lending, credit lending, or sales
2+ years of consumer direct or wholesale lending experience
Previous sales experience in a high-volume call center environment preferred
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to propose alternative loan terms
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with loan applicants and internal teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and information retention
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
Passion for helping customers achieve their financial goals
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Ability to meet and exceed sales goals
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
$19.50 per hour plus commission.
