Loan Operations Specialist IV

Description

As a Loan Operations Specialist IV, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our loan documentation and operations. You’ll support the Loan Operations team by managing document imaging, exception tracking, and regulatory compliance, while also stepping into advanced responsibilities as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Scan and upload loan documents into the imaging system, ensuring correct categorization and permanent record retention
• Review new and renewed loan agreements to add covenants and ticklers for collateral tracking and financial reporting
• Manage weekly and monthly exception reports, providing accurate updates to lenders and support staff
• Satisfy ticklers by reviewing incoming documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Verify proper document uploads and tickler updates, making corrections as needed
• Perform responsibilities of Loan Operations Specialists I–III, including:
• Answering phones and assisting customers
• Filing physical and electronic loan documents
• Supporting daily operations like mailing notices, posting transactions, and processing officer requests
• Reconciling general ledger and internal loan accounts
• Reviewing reports for errors and ensuring compliance
• Processing escrow transactions and issuing payments for insurance and taxes
• Filing mortgages and UCCs, tracking insurance, and handling participation payments
• Cross-training to support other team functions as needed

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of banking experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and adaptability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
