WE ARE SEEKING:  

• An experienced Loan Operations Supervisor to work in our Berlin, Maryland corporate office (this is not a remote position). 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Assisting the Loan Operations Manager in the daily supervision and operation of the department.
• Motivating and engaging staff, leading by example.
• Assisting with training and development of staff.
• Serving as the primary loan reviewer on all consumer residential (TRID & HELOC) loans and commercial loans before settlement as well as attorney-prepared loan documents.
• Overseeing the accurate and timely documentation of data related to HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act), CRA (Community Reinvestment Act), Fair Lending, Flood Insurance, Loan Denials, and any other data necessary.
• Ensuring that all data is collected, recorded, and reported in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Manage the preparation and submission of reports related to these areas to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring that all loan products, processes, and documentation comply with applicable federal, state and local regulations.
• Staying current on all regulatory changes to relevant regulations and industry trends, and proactively adjusting policies, procedures, and practices as needed.
• Other projects and tasks assigned.

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and at least seven years of experience in the banking or financial services industry with a focus on loan administration and/or loan processing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of compliance with banking regulations, HMDA, CRA and the processing of residential and consumer loan transactions required. Commercial experience a plus.
• Prior experience supervising/managing a team required.
• Exposure to closing documents for both consumer and commercial loans preferred.
• Solid computer skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• This is a salaried, exempt position. We also have a discretionary bonus plan, subject to company performance.
