Idaho Housing and Finance Association is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to join our organization! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing efficient processing of all single-family refinance loans to ensure timely closing.

In this role, you will:

• Provide efficient and timely closing and processing of all single-family refinance loans. 
• Collect and verify income, asset, and credit documentation.
• Process all FHA, VA streamline, and Rural Development (RD) loans to meet agency guidelines.
• Prepare files for underwriting and ensure all conditions are met before closing.
• Foster excellent relationships to customers of IHFA, title company personnel, agencies, and internal co-workers.
• Process and close ROL and Assumptions requested by IHFA borrowers. 
• Provide excellent customer service in the reservation/processing, closing, and funding of all loans.
• Ensure compliance with all lending regulations, investor requirements, and internal policies. 
• Participate in training on an individual and departmental basis to further development and promote advancement. 
• Stay up to date on lending guidelines, investor requirements, and compliance regulations. 

• Must have 2+ years’ experience in mortgage lending, LOS administration, processing, and closing or similar experience.
• 2+ years experience with Conventional, FHA, and VA (USDA Preferred). 
• Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. 
• Experience using Encompass or other mortgage origination software preferred. 
• Required to participate in training and other educational classes that benefit the Association and the individual as it relates to the position. 
• Must be a team player and work towards the Association's goals. 
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask under deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
