Loan Sales Transaction Analyst

The Loan Sales Transaction Analyst plays a critical role in the successful sale and onboarding of mortgage loans to investors. This position is responsible for managing and monitoring investor requirements, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and submitted, and coordinating internally and externally to support the timely and accurate purchase of loans. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

General Responsibilities:

• Monitor investor websites daily for loan-level status updates and outstanding conditions that must be fulfilled for purchase.
• Serve as a liaison between CMG internal teams and Investors obtain required documentation or resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation required for loan sales to Investors.
• Articulate exceptions to operations teams to ensure correct documents are provided
• Support investor audits and assist with compiling any requested documentation.
• Provide Purchase Advice notifications and wire details to the PA Group to ensure accurate reconciliation of funds.

All In One (AIO) Analyst Responsibilities:

• Track the shipping/delivery status of loans uploaded to Investors for purchase review and follow up on any delays or outstanding items.
• Monitor and record purchase history; upload Purchase Advice reports received from Investors into internal systems.
• Alert the Secondary Marketing team to pull loans from trades when issues arise that affect salability.
• Coordinate with Servicers to deliver documentation or corrections required for successful account onboarding.
• Work closely with the AIO Support team to resolve guideline discrepancies or document deficiencies identified by Investors, ensuring updates are implemented to meet purchase requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in mortgage operations, loan delivery, secondary marketing, or a related field.
• Processing and Underwriting knowledge preferred.
• Compliance or Quality Control experience preferred.
• Detail oriented and organization is a must.
• Ability to provide clear documentation and feedback.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment.
• High Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize work and goals according to importance and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of products; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

Base Compensation Information – This role is currently allocated for candidates within geographic regions that do not currently require base wage disclosure. The compensation range for this position will be provided upon request. (Due to their geographic location, residents of the states of CA & CO, and for New York City are excluded from this role at this time.)
