Loan Service Supervisor

POSITION TITLE: Loan Services Supervisor  

DEPARTMENT: Operations

POSITION FUNCTION:  

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Operations, perform all necessary functions relating to the Loan Services Department.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

1. Supervise daily activities of Loan Services staff 
2. Coordinate workflow in Loan Services including quality control, insurance, escrow, and personal and business loan servicing 
3. Ensure lending compliance with Credit Union policy as well as with state and federal regulations
4. Direct staff in researching and resolving issues on loan products and services
5. Perform monthly review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
6. Assist in the creation and implementation of departmental and Credit Union policies and procedures
7. Review system reports daily, weekly, monthly or as instructed by the Assistant Vice President of Operations and report findings to the Assistant Vice President of Operations as necessary
8. Coordinate the training and development of Loan Services staff.
9. Maintain own job knowledge and skill level needed to meet the requirements of the position

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist in any area of the Loan Services Department as required by the Assistant Vice President of Operations
2. Perform administrative and managerial duties as required
3. Provide a safe and professional environment while promoting a team effort among staff
4. Maintain a required level of quality and quantity of work
5. Participate in educational conferences, seminars and workshops to maintain knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations 
6. Ensure credit union confidentiality.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Hand dexterity required to operate computer terminal and/or related equipment.
2. Eye coordination required to operate computer/teller terminal.
3. Sitting at desk or computer workstation for periods of time.
4. Travels to Credit Union facilities/locations as required.
5. Move around credit union between levels or floors while performing duties.
6. Bending and stretching in work area.
7. Speak and listen to members and explain credit union services.
