Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of back-office loan operations functions. In order to comply with regulatory requirements, it is imperative that tasks are performed in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate for this position will be flexible with regards to tasks assigned and be willing to learn multiple tasks as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily bank account reconciliations


• Daily lender account reconciliations


• Trust account review (escrow, loan servicing, holdback)


• Payment processing, ACH, check and wires


• Process borrower loan payoffs


• Complete daily bank deposits online


• Process investor payments


• Complete loan fee and holdback transfers


• Research and clear stale dated checks


• E-filing Checks and Backup Documents

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of simple and compound interest calculations


• Previous loan payment/mortgage collection experience


• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.


• Strong problem solving, research and analytical skills.


• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.


• Ability to adapt in a changing environment

Requirements 

• Business, finance or accounting degree preferred.


• Effective organization and time management skills 


• An acute attention to detail 


• Sage Intacct experience or similar accounting system


• The ability to multi-task 


• Aptitude for problem solving 


• A pro-active attitude to accomplish tasks

Work Environment:

This is an onsite position which requires in-office reporting to Anchor’s Thousand Oaks office.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is $24 to $25 an hour, plus annual discretionary bonus based on performance of the individual and company.
