Loan Servicing Clerk

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, energetic individual to join our team as a Loan Servicing Clerk. The ideal candidate will possess loan servicing experience in a credit union or similar financial institution, eager to make an impact with a strong, professional work ethic. 

This is a detail orientated position responsible for performing a wide variety of service and operational duties in support of residential (including Secondary Market Mortgages), commercial and consumer loan operations.  Support functions include but are not limited to, member service for existing loans, loan input and reporting, transaction processing, escrow disbursements, insurance tracking, pay-off calculations, collateral & note release, quality control and project management support.    

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Provides support to all assigned areas of the department where service or assistance is needed, acts as backup for various loan servicing department positions and functions.  
• Possesses adequate product knowledge, including required documentation.
• Provides routine administrative tasks for the department, including but not limited to, collecting, and addressing incoming mail, mail, and faxes.
• Maintain accurate filing of documents along with retrieving and filing files appropriately.
• Payoff and discharge preparation and administration. 
• Title Administration
• Assist with daily and monthly loan servicing related reports.
• Develop and maintain current knowledge of all real estate and consumer loan programs and their servicing standards/requirements.
• Assist with gathering documents, transaction histories, loan files and any other items required to satisfy internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with the timely reconveyance/satisfaction of lien releases to meet relevant State, Federal and Local laws/regulations as well as PNCU internal requirements.
• Cross train as appropriate
• Additional responsibilities as they are assigned.
• Responsible for compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as credit union policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Possess solid organizational and time management skills
• Self-starter, self-reliant, dependable, ability to work within and meet specific time constraints
• Team player with positive attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Superior organizational, problem solving skills
• Results oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
