JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the day to day loan servicing activities and has knowledge of various functional areas across the loan servicing area. Essential Functions

1. Maintain availability to answer inbound calls from team members regarding various loan servicing issues.
2. Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
3. Complete all Freddie Mac reporting in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
4. Ensure that all Legence Bank loans are uploaded into the CSI system.
5. Ensure that general ledger tickets are prepared in an accurate manner.
6. Process general ledger tickets for new loan requests, incoming Freddie Mac wires, investor loans and change in term agreements.
7. Responsible for reporting and remitting of funds as necessary for Freddie Mac payoffs.
8. Provide excellent customer service for both external and internal customers.
9. Cross train Loan Processing Specialists.
10. Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, providing an environment of open and authentic.
11. Adhere to all Legence bank and AFMFS Hoopla standards, serving as an example to other team members, as well to our customers.
12. Represent and promote the Company within the community through participation in bank sponsored events, philanthropic opportunities and civic events.
13. All other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

The employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Required Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
2. At least 2 Years Current Banking Experience Preferred.
