Loan Servicing Specialist (UCC)

 How You Will Support the Team:

The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for assisting with the title tracking and lien perfection on loans financed through an indirect lending department. Tracks and reconciles the receipt of titles and UCC filings and identifies areas of risk associated with missing lien instruments. Works with dealers or financial service providers (FSP) to obtain necessary titles and/or UCC filings to perfect lien on all loans. Involves direct communication with the dealer and often the applicant to complete all title requirements and filings. Works with third party service provider, Systems and Services Technologies (SST) in reconciliation of titles sent and received. Will assist in other duties of the department, such as processing charge-back requests on participation paid to dealers. Please note this is a fully in person role requiring 5 days per week in our Salt Lake City office. 

What We Are Looking For:

• Ensure UCC’s are filed and perfected on all applicable loans.  


• Coordinate with SST’s Title Department, as necessary


• Assist customers with questions related to their loan, including but not limited to, title and lien related questions.


• Greet and welcome guests and visitors to the office.


• Receive and sort mail and overnight packages.


• Perform all other duties as assigned.

You Would Be A GREAT Fit with These Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 


• Self-motivated and hard working. Must be able to handle multiple functions simultaneously and function in a high-pressure environment.


• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel.  Keyboard familiarity and accurate typing skills with a recommended minimum of 25 wpm.


• Ability to successfully work in a team environment.


• Strong organizational skills.


• Basic math skills.


• Responsible and honest with strong work ethic.

Preferred Education Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in a lending environment.


• Working knowledge of UCC and funding process.
