Loan Set-Up Coordinator

We’re looking for a highly organized and reliable Loan Set-Up Coordinator to join our Operations team. This role is key to getting each loan file started on the right foot. You’ll be responsible for the initial setup of mortgage loan files, ensuring all early-stage documentation is collected and complete before passing the file on to processing.

• Collect and verify initial loan documents from clients and loan officers
  


• Set up new files in the loan origination system
  


• Order and track third-party verifications (credit, income, assets, insurance, etc.)
  


• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy
  


• Ensure compliance with company, investor, and regulatory guidelines at the setup stage
  


• Flag any issues or missing documents to the appropriate team members
  


• Support processors and loan officers by creating clean, complete loan files ready for the next steps
  

Requirements

• Some experience in either mortgage, lending operations, or administrative support (preferred)
  


• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  


• Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
  


• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  


• Proficient with computers 
  


• Eagerness to learn and grow within the mortgage industry
